- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each and every client is unique. I like to begin working with new clients by asking about the type of event as well as the size and demographic makeup of the audience that I will be speaking to. With the desired outcome in mind, the customer and I can work out the details of the presentation that I will customize specifically for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For more than 25 years, I have been speaking to, teaching, training, and consulting with educators, students, parents, and the community. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the University of Indianapolis and a Master of Science Degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University. I served in higher education at Vincennes University for 12 years as the Director of Multicultural Services. Kimberly Ewing is a Certified Olweus Bullying Prevention Trainer and Consultant through Clemson University Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life; the worlds foremost bullying prevention program proven to reduce bullying behavior and I am a Certified Diversity and Inclusion Trainer. I have received numerous testimonials which describe me as a highly sought after, riveting, and inspiring motivational speaker who utilizes a powerful and passionate message to inspire and educate audiences of all ages and cultures.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I learned very early in life that a little motivation, encouragement, empowerment, and knowledge can go a very long way. Speaking, training, and consulting has been my passion for over 25 years. I understood the need to use my talent to address many of the issues that plague our youth and society as a whole each and every day.
