I’ve been taking Piano and Korean lessons with Dr. Kowoon Lee for about two months and it’s been the best decision that I’ve made this year. She takes the time to help her students and is very encouraging especially if you are a beginner like myself in Piano and speaking Korean. She’s the person that I would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Kowoon Lee is an excellent tutor. She is actually a highly acclaimed pianist who I have found out to be truly amazing. Dr. Lee's career and experience is very impressive. She not only plays piano professionally but teaches piano at the University level as a Collegiate Professor. I prayed for a while hoping to find the right tutor for my 15 yo daughter who has never played the piano, but has basic music knowledge when she was taught in elementary school. I don't know how she does it, but she knows my daughter and has such a great,awesome,wonderful repor with her, being a teenager(...as teens can be.....sigh*), she was reluctant and very shy to be tutored; especially it being a completely new experience for her. The tutoring is online....but Dr Lee is so very organized, hands on and professional...the time goes fast and my daughter now LOVES IT! Dr. Lee is so very well versed with her students' needs, from what i see-she knows her students well and what it takes to help them succeed. She is so very kind and patient....and highly organized. I love the piano recitals that she organizes for her students to be a part of- it is really neat and so nice to see them all together playing what they have learned. You will get completely your money's worth, we are SO SATISFIED AND HAPPY, my daughter is (of course homework and practice is very important; a tutor can't do it all for you, you have to put the practice time in) .......ACTUALLY PLAYING PIANO LOL and reading sheet music...even stuff like Mozart and writing basic music .....therefore we even signed her up for Korean class (..yes Dr Lee teaches Korean as well-excellent with that too btw!) When my daughter is done, I plan to take up piano myself....making sure Dr. Kowoon Lee will be my guide through it. You want to play piano or speak Korean....Dr Kowoon Lee is your go to, she is excellent.....btw THANK YOU KOWOON 😊

Since I started Korean lessons with Dr. Kowoon I can say that it’s one of the best decisions that I’ve made. I really like her style of teaching and she’s been helping me a lot. She always gives words of encouragement which I’m appreciative of. She always makes sure I understand everything before we move on to the next lesson. I would highly recommend her tutoring without any doubts.

I was so nervous about taking Korean lessons, but I have been learning so much with Kowoon and having a great time! She is a wonderful teacher and I almost feel like I should be paying more lol?! Everything is taught at my pace, I have notes to review and homework assignments that are just the right level of challenging. I definitely feel so much more confident in my Korean and I am so glad I chose Kowoon as my Korean teacher!!
