- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Recent college grad: $125* | 1-5 years experience: $150* | 5-10 years experience: $175* | 10+ years experience: $200* | Add a cover letter for $40* | Get just a cover letter for $65* | Review and suggestions for existing resume: $50 | *These prices are based on the first draft plus two rounds of edits. The third edit and beyond are subject to an additional $10 charge each. | Expedited resumes are available. | Non-resume editing services are based on the type of project and number of words. My base fee is $0.09 per word.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is pretty straightforward. Phone call - questionnaire - phone call. When we chat the first time, I want to determine where you are in your career and where you're looking to go. Then I send you my questionnaire. It's some questions about your personality, work style and accomplishments. If I have any questions, I'll call you again to talk it through.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in content strategy, writing and editing. For years, I've taken complex language and broken it down into words that people enjoy reading. I've written about everything from health insurance and education to gastroenterology and mechanical engineering. I make it my mission to learn about your industry to give you the best career document possible. I've written dozens of resumes and blogged about various career services.
