FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide a free consultation for all potential clients. This consultation provides the client an opportunity to meet us and have their questions answered. 95% of our cases are on a contingency fee arrangement. This means that we cover all the expenses of the case, and if there is a recovery, we receive a percentage and the expenses. Our fees start at 33%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the client to better understand their story, evaluate and discuss the strategy and expectations, and answer any questions. Additionally, we like clients to meet the staff that will be working on their case. Sometimes the client is suffering through a significant issue that may cause them to need more attention and understanding. Depending on the type of case, a meeting with our in-house nurse may be appropriate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started working full-time in the Tulsa District Attorney's Office as a legal intern while attending law school at night. This provided experience in the court room, formed relationships with judges and the bar. Served as an Assistant District Attorney and later appointed as the District Attorney of Tulsa County. This experience provided me with daily court experience and jury trials. In 2001 I attended the Gerry Spence Trial College. TLC provides a three week course on learning to connect with yourself, your client and a jury incorporating the necessary skills for winning at trial. I serve as an instructor at the Gerry Spence Trial College, teaching the final week that involves the aspects of a jury trial. My most recent jury verdicts resulting in awards of $10,000,000 and $6,500,000 with the largest settlement being $23,000,000. My father has influenced my life as an attorney, husband and father. My father, Gary Richardson is one of the most successful trial lawyers in the country with a jury awarding his client over $58,000,000. Dad started training me as a boy and has mentored me in the practice of law helping mold me into the trial lawyer I am today. I am married to Chris Richardson and we have three sons. We attend Life Church and serve on Sunday and as leaders of a Life Group. My hobbies include hunting, fishing and golf.
