Learn to Swim by David
Introduction: I have been instructing and coaching people on how to swim for the past 20 years. I have specialized in working with adults - teaching basics, improving stroke technique, overcoming fears, etc., but have also worked with all ages (i.e. swim coach). I work in education and have based my swim instruction around sound teaching strategies by modeling and reinforcing proper technique.
My rate is $30 for a 45 minute individual lesson, and $25/swimmer when teaching two or more (45 minute lesson). I recommend 45 mins so muscles will not be overworked due to the acquisition and practicing of new skills.
During the first lesson, I will assess your current level of ability and help you determine and set goals moving forward.

I found Dave thru the internet while searching for someone to help me learn how to swim. My swimming was pretty much non-existent at this time. I wanted to do my first triathlon and the swim was 350 meters. I got in touch with Dave and we set up arrangements for lessons. He was very understanding of my schedule and flexible. Dave was patient and his teaching was thorough and easy to understand. I learned so much from him and thanks to him I was able to complete my 1st RocketChix triathlon here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! 5 years later I am still competing in triathlons and winning quite a few in my age group and I'm hoping to complete my first full Ironman next year!
