Introduction: Each and every individual and their circumstances are unique. The average person presents a bit differently each time they come in for a massage; therefore, each time the massage must be adjusted to meet those needs. Lorrie is a very professional, respectful massage therapist. I can't tell you which technique she used for my massage, but does it really matter? I felt like melted butter by the time she was done. I didn't want to leave the table. I have been to several massage therapists before, but now there will only be one!

I've had regular massages for decades. Lorrie is in my top 5 of all time. She adjusts modalities and pressure based on what my body needs *today*. She is skilled at injury recovery, stress, chronic illness and 'I've had a bad day' treatments. And, bonus!, she runs on time, too. I have been recommending Lorrie to everyone I know, because her work is simply outstanding. She's right when she says it's more than a job to her-- right away you can tell she really cares about her clients. I'm very sensitive about being touched, but Lorrie put me at ease from the get-go and I've been back for regular sessions. She even introduced me to cupping, and I was skeptical at first, but now I ask her to include it in every session. She's fantastic, and I won't go anywhere else!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer reasonable rates. I have rates for those who I work with monthly , and other rates for those who are treated more than once a month. I also offer referral incentives. I charge for my time/education vs Modality or Treatments used etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each body is different. I would like to know what type of work or activities you do to better access the treatment needed to target certain trouble spots you may have. Auto immune diseases, Cancer treatments, Headache history.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly taking courses and updating my education. I am Board Certified, the highest certification in bodywork in the US, which requires me to continually educate unlike the California State Certification requirements. ( which I have as well) I love to learn all I can. Typically once I have learned something new there tends to be a wave of people I meet that are in need of that knowledge and skill. It is very rewarding.
