The move started out well, but it was obvious the movers didn't really care about our stuff and we're in a hurry. We had some damaged items and a lot of stuff was just plain missing (we thoroughly combed through both houses and found nothing). This has never happened to us before and we are really organized when moving. The two biggest issues we had was they broke the support leg on my sons bunk bed, which is not fixable. They also knocked out one of our dryer legs and left it in the back of their truck. I noticed the dryer wasn't sitting right and was able to stop them before they left; found the leg sitting in the back. Overall, the movers communicated well and did a good job. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We spend 10-15 minutes on the phone going over the details of the move. We can also come out to your property to discuss the move.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Look up the company on Better Business Bureau. These are real customers. Anyone can post fake reviews on Google, Yelp, etc.. This will also tell you how long the moving company has been around because they might not be around tomorrow. Make sure the moving company OWNS their own trucks.
