Then I'm ready to go to work and can dedicate my day to helping you achieve your goal or task of cleanout of garage or house of leftover items from a renter and/or a foreclosure.
I have been cleaning a lot of gutters lately with all the rain we have had here in Southwest Florida. 1. I use a toilet bowl brush attached to a rod and remove the larger debree 2. I then use a garden hose to clean the gutters to flow freely. 3. I inspect and fix and hangers or brackets that may have detached. 4. I inspect for and wood rot behind the gutters and take photos to discuss if the wood behind your gutter is in need of replacement or repair. 5. Finally, I use a caulk gun with gutter sealant and go over any areas that are leaking such as corners or connections. When done your gutters will flow freely as if they were new!
I have a small trailer and a 31-foot trailer that will allow in most cases the cleanout in one trip. I have a helper if I need to recruit additional help to meet a deadline and/or pick up or carry heavier items. Sometimes appliances that need to be moved up or down stairs can be a challenge, and I am prepared for that with the appliance dolly and straps to secure the appliance that needs to be moved.
In addition to the house cleanout and junk removal service, I provide an extensive variety of handyman services that can help you get your honey-do list completed.
I have handyman skills that can help such as faucet repair and replacement for kitchen and/or bath, electrical installation of water heater, ceiling fans, light switches, light fixtures, camera systems for security and cable installation too. I have experience in installing satellite dishes and realigning them when strong winds or a storm has knocked them off signal.
I can replace exterior and interior doors, screen doors, sliding glass doors, shower doors and bifold closet doors. I can remove old carpet, cut it up in strips and place it by the roadside for garbage pickup. I also specialize in hanging flat-screen LED, LCD and smart TVs. I have a laser stud finder and can pinpoint the center of the wall stud, so the bracket is very secure and even the larger 60- or 70-inch TVs can hung with no worries.
I can also hang your flat screen using the "hidden wire technique"; this seems to be everyone's favorite recently and it really does provide a clean wall look and leaves your TV looking awesome on the wall.
I'm a text preferred type of handyman. I have learned if I stop and answer the phone all day that it delays the job or task at hand that I am doing at the moment. I prefer text messages because it gives me a written "to do list" that I can reference or plan my call backs later in the day or the next morning after I finish the job I am focused on at the time, so if I don't answer my voice call phone, just know that I am probably on a job and look forward to reading your text message after I complete the job, and I will get back to you in most cases within 24 hours. I e-mail and text late at night too so as not to call you and interrupt your time with your family.
When you hire me to do a job, I will perform the job as if I were doing it for myself or a family member. I use common-sense knowledge when completing the task and follow the instruction laid out to the best of my ability. If their is an unclear direction or a roadblock, I will "text, e-mail or call you to get clarification of how "you want it to be handled."
I take plenty of photos and text or e-mail them to you, so you can see exactly what the before and after situation looks like. I understand out-of-town property owners. I own a home in Jacksonville, Florida; it's 5 hours away, and I sometimes must use a service or handyman up there to complete a job as its more cost-effective than me driving 5 hours up and 5 hours back and losing a day or two just to do a home repair for my renters.
I will always attempt to find supplies for the lowest possible cost at home depot, Lowe's or other hardware stores based on just the materials needed to complete the job, then I will text, fax or e-mail the receipt to you, so you have a record of your expenditures on your property.
