Last September Mountain Strong Construction constructed a 24 ft. x 10 ft reinforced concrete apron in front of my garage. The work was exceptionally well done at a fair cost. It stood up very well after Juneau's extremely cold winter and numerous freeze thaw cycles. Speaking from the perspective of a returned civil engineer, as well as a homeowner, I highly recommend them for any concrete project.
The work was necessary because I had uncovered rotting logs buried at the garage entrance right up against the foundation of the house. They were the only company to respond the same day that I called for quotes. Recognizing that access to my garage was blocked until the situation could be fixed, Mountain Construction promised they'd begin work within a few days. They actually delivered equipment to my home that night and started excavation the next day.
Within just over a week the work was finished. It all complied with the construction standards I was familiar with throughout my professional career. They provided a bonus by placing and finishing a 12 ft by 4 ft concrete pad in front of a boat shed on the opposite side of the driveway. And they left a compactor on site for me to use after spreading new D1 over the entire driveway.
I am completely satisfied with the work Mountain Construction did at my home and without a doubt would use them again if the need arises.
