- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing I do is get to know my clients/ customers. I do this through phone, email, or in person. During this time, I get to learn their likes, dislikes, fitness goals, what made them want to hire a trainer, and what they expect out of a trainer. I then tell them what I expect out of my clients. After that go over medical history to see if they have any limitations. After that is done we go over programs/ exercises and ways to track progress ( body taping, skin folds, pictures, and so on). If they like what I have to offer, we can start then or schedule our first workout.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have one personal training certification and I am working towards another.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoyed fitness/ working out from the first time I picked up my first weight. Since then, I have tried to help others reach their fitness goals. By helping other reach their fitness goals, they have gained the confidence to reach other goals in life.
