Oak Road Properties came to us by referral, and we're glad we chose them! We had a laundry list of items that included deck, siding, and fence repairs. Flooring and window trim installation. We also needed the upstairs carpet stretched and cleaned, and the house power washed/gutters cleaned. Ben, with Oak Road Properties, was extremely timely with a fair estimate. He was also able to accommodate our tight deadline. Ben was very professional, easy to communicate with, his repairs/installations were excellent, and he kept the work site clean. The two contractors that Ben lined up for the carpet and power wash also did a great job. We would definitely recommend Oak Road Properties, and we would use them again for future projects.

They recently did a multiple piece chair rail in two rooms of my house. Lots of corners, odd angles, windows and doors to deal with. I was very pleased with the results being on time and under budget. Very professional work. Will definitely hire them again in the future.

Did a re-model on a bathroom. The flooring had been ruined by a leaking commode. Had to replace sub floor and install tile floor. Fantastic job! Fast work. Flooring and bathroom look completely new! Would highly recommend Oak Road for any renovation work!

I would hire Oak Road Properties again for sure, especially Ben Sears. Ben did a great job with the things we asked him to do. He was on time, very courteous, and fair on his pricing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Labor is priced per hour with materials and other costs per job. Repeat maintenance requests or steady work from a single customer may generate standard or reduced pricing. Our pricing may not be the cheapest quote you receive but always remember that you get the quality and services that you are willing to pay for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love to communicate directly with our customers in order to fully understand their needs. At least one visit to the site is generally required in order to estimate and price materials and labor. Estimates are generated electronically followed by a written contract between the customer and the contractor. Payment is required per the terms of the contract.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a Virginia Class A licensed contractor and have nearly ten years of experience in all aspects of residential construction and remodeling. Our employees regularly attend classes in order to stay abreast of changes in our industry. This gives us the ability to work with other subcontractors in order to complete your job effectively and efficiently.
