Mover arrived nearly an hour late. Didn't finish the job in the quoted time and when our goods arrived they were damaged. Nearly all our furniture arrived damaged. A couple example pictures of the damage is attached - clear negligence. Mover did not use any protection between furniture, even though we tried to provide it. Refuses to take responsibility for the situation on top of all of this. We did not wave any fees. No protection was used at all. Poor service. We are very sorry this happened to your belongings. However we had nothing to do with transportation of your container which is the reason you opted to wave our trip fee, the trip fee allows us to supply all the materials necessary for the protection of your belongings. If we can't protected we can't insure it, and we can't insure items that we are not transporting.
I had to be the one that called them to confirm our appointment the day before. We scheduled for 10am, Robert told me they booked a few more moves that day and asked if there's anyway we can start a little earlier; I agreed to 8am. 8:30 am comes, I called 4-5 times, no answer. My bf texted him and he replied, 9am it was his mistakes he had told his workers wrong time. NOT BOTHERED TO PICKED UP THE PHONE AND TELL US. THE MOVERS DID NOT GET THERE TILL 9:37am!!! So this time we had waited an hour and a half. Comparing the movers we had last year, it took them about 2-3 hours Max to moved and disassemble and assembled everything. Roberts's movers STARTED AT 9:45am, DID NOT FINISHED TILL 4:30pm!!!!!! I felt like the workers werent professional movers, they looked over worked, (they were very nice guys but moved very slowly, I even bought a quick lunch for them considering they were with me for hours). The movers couldn't get one of the couch up because the hallway was narrow and turned. They ATTEMPTED to for about 20-30 minutes, and the wall were scratched pretty bad. They never assembled my tv's back on the wall before they left, and when I asked they told me the "the tv mounted pieces are in one of the boxes" and left. We are very sorry that you were disappointed with our crew. The 2 movers sent to you are some of our best and most requested crew. I know the delay was not their fault. As far as mounting your TVs on the wall is not something we automatically do because it's a liability. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you feel better about our service.
