I absolutely love our engagement photos! My fiance and I had never taken professional photos before and were unsure of what to expect. Jessica's attitude during our photo shoot was extremely professional, yet also laid back enough to allow us to "do our own thing." There were definitely some posed shots, because Jessica seemed to know exactly where to put us to help us look our best--but there are also so many natural, candid shots. These are my absolute favorite photos--when my fiance and I are just being ourselves--Jessica was really able to capture the personal, private moments that we shared and to illuminate them in photos. I could not be happier with our pictures and would absolutely recommend Jessica to anybody looking for an affordable engagement session without sacrificing anything in quality. Mike

As first time parents, my husband and I had no idea what went into newborn photography. Jess wowed us with how professional and warm she was and how well she worked with us! We were sleep deprived and anxious about anything to do with our precious baby but felt so at ease with Jess capturing some of our son’s first photos and the first photos of our new family of 3. And, we are completely in love with the photos!!! I cannot stop looking at them and love sharing them with our friends and family—and anyone else for that matter! Not only did she do a beautiful job, but she had the photos ready for us to enjoy so quickly. I have had the hardest time deciding which ones to use for the birth announcement because I just want to use them all!!! We would recommend Jess to anyone to photograph anything; we know they wouldn’t be disappointed. She is a true gem!

My fiancé and I love our engagement photos! We were definitely a little nervous going into it because we had never done professional photos before. Jessica made us feel comfortable and went at our pace throughout the entire session. She also had us laughing immediately, which not only helped us to relax, but resulted in some of the most beautiful and natural looking photos. Her effortless transitions of guiding us throughout the photo shoot made the entire session run smoothly. Not only was Jessica professional while working with us, she was very knowledgeable and her passion and talent for photography is quite obvious. The entire session was more than we could have expected going into our very first photo shoot. We couldn't wait to see our photos once we finished the shoot and when we finally saw them, we were beyond happy. We would absolutely recommend Jessica to any couple interested in taking their engagement photos.

Jessica was absolutely amazing! I was excited, but also unsure, about birth photography due to the private/very personal nature of it all. But Jessica more than delivered with these pictures! She was extremely professional and was very considerate and mindful while I was in labor and giving birth, and she managed to get every picture I asked for. I was in labor for over 24 hours, and once I arrived at the birthing location Jessica promptly met us there and was up all through the night capturing the whole event. The experience was amazing and there were times when I completely forgot she was in the room, which made for a very peaceful and uninterrupted birthing experience. I'm so happy to have been put in touch with Jessica and to get all these absolutely amazing pictures to document and look back on the birth of my son. She is an absolute delight and working with her was amazing! I'm very thankful and extremely pleased with the entire experience!

Jessica was fantastic as our photographer and took gorgeous engagement pictures! You could never tell looking at our photos, but it was literally freezing outside. She was a trooper throughout the entire shoot and was able to capture AMAZING moments between me and my fiance'. Jessica's calm demeanor helped my fiance' and I to be comfortable with each other as she took our pictures. We used her photographs for our save the date card, engagement party, and our wedding website. We received great reviews from our family and friends about the photographs. Jessica is professional, creative, and would work with her again in the future for other events.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing starts at $100 for a headshot session with 2 edited digital images and increases from there based on my clients' requests. Each of my prices is customized to fit your specific needs so you always know you're getting exactly what you desire, within your budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I have connected with a new client, we will schedule an upcoming photography session for an agreed upon date and time, typically within 2-3 weeks. Once we meet and complete the session, I will have a gallery of edited digital images ready for them to view within one week, usually sooner. From there, clients are able to view, select, and download their chosen files directly from my website.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I purchased my first DSLR camera several years ago before embarking on a one-year move to Guatemala where I lived and worked at an orphanage. During my time in Guatemala I honed my photography skills while exploring all the wonders that Central America has to offer. When I got back, I began taking my photography more seriously, slowly developing my passion into a business that I am proud to call my own.
