FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My lessons are in Louisville, in and around the St. Matthews area. My fees are reasonable and I also have special pricing for families.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know someone and find out what they like, especially in music. If they are an older student I like to find out what their goals are in learning to play music.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Music Composition with a minor in piano from Roosevelt University in Chicago and a Master of Divinity in Church Music with an emphasis in piano from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. I have been a church pianist, and accompanist for various middle school, high school, college, and church choirs for the past 30 years. I played and studied French horn for the entire time I was enrolled in higher education and have played in various community bands and orchestras in Virginia, Chicago, Minnesota, Oregon, and Louisville. I have arranged and composed music for churches and for various clients for the past 30 years. Please watch my two videos on my profile: one of me playing an arrangement of a hymn for Easter and the other of me playing and singing a worship song I wrote.
