FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base fee is $50 which includes travel to your location and one notarization. Additional documents are $10 per document notarized. If there are multiple documents, I will discount the per document fee based on the number of documents. These fees are for general notary work. For loan documents, please call for a quote as the price will depend on distance traveled, number of pages in the loan document, type of loan, etc. To write the ceremony and perform the wedding is $150 minimum. I can do as much or as little as the couple would like. The $150 takes care of officiating the ceremony, writing the love story to share at the ceremony and my travel fee. Fees go up with additional elements added to the ceremony. All of this is discussed during the free, no obligation consultation. I can also conduct the State of Florida required marriage ceremony for $90.00. The fee includes conducting the ceremony, travel fee and returning the marriage license to the issuing authority via Priority Mail.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a wedding ceremony where I will be creating and writing the ceremony, I like to meet with the couple before I have even been hired! This gives us a chance to see if we "click' and if I am the right wedding officiant for the couple. If we do hit it off and the couple decides they want to hire me, I have a questionnaire to give them to fill out, giving me details on how they met, when they fell in love, how and who proposed, etc. This is the basis for the ceremony that I will create for them. The couple has the final approval on the ceremony that I write and they can make as many changes as they want to the ceremony until it is exactly what they want for their special day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
