Mr. Stephen Morris has actually provided me with a terrible service both for property management and project management of my 8 properties. After just 4 months of service he claimed he was closing his business and has neither sent me final statements on the account nor paid me the rents he received for 4 properties, nor the tenant's security deposits. He owes me a lot of money and does not seem to plan on paying any of it. Not even trying to justify with proper accounting why he might have a reason to withhold payments... obviously he has no reason, he is just stealing from me. When he was supposedly working for me he was not able to get any of the works he was supposed to supervise done on time. As I live abroad, he kept lying about the progress of works. He was receiving kick-back money from the contractor (of which I got proof in an email between both of them that he inadvertently forwarded to me) and was always asking me to pay for progress of works that had not happened. The first statements he sent were wrong : he was double charging many items and doubling up on fees he was supposed to charge. He was charging items that were never done. When I picked up the errors, he said he would correct them, but never did! If you want to keep your property and money safe, stay away from this guy !!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I kind of happened into it after renting my own home years ago. I have been in the Army Reserves for 29 years and the stories soldiers can tell about property managers is amazing I thought I could do better. That is why I became an officer in the Army I had a better chance of making a difference.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We place tenants and get the best rental price for the property. We help decide what the client needs to do to get a tenant and how to keep them in the house after that.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say make sure you look at their history. Look at their current tenants and talk to a few of them. Make sure you can call the property manager most don't answer their phone.
