- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All students pay a flat rate for piano lessons, in 30-minute increments. Two or more siblings studying the same instrument will receive a small discount.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold an associates degree in Music from Mt. San Jacinto College, and a bachelors degree in Performance/Composition from the California State University, San Bernardino. I also have earend a bachelors degree in Music Education from the same school. I have been playing piano all of my adult life (roughly 15 years) and teaching for about a decade. I have taught piano to students of all ages (including adults) both privately and for music studios throughout Southern California.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began teaching piano at the behest of my peers, who felt that I would be a good candidate for this type of work, when I transferred from a local community college to the CSU system.
