- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. The initial call involves a brief telephone interview to establish the scope of the work and a rough idea of what type of an investment budget may be needed. 2. Salyer Construction and your family meet and discuss the scope of work. The proposed area is researched and measurements may be taken. 3. The company's pre-construction services include all phases of design. Project tasks are presented in a detailed proposal along with a guaranteed completion date. 4. As soon as the construction proposal is signed, construction drawings and specifications are created. Once permits are approved, the actual construction will begin!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a young boy I followed my dad around remodeling houses and building new structures. I believe this is where I found my interest and yearning for the feeling of completion at the end of a project.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring a contractor to work on your house is a big deal. Its your home. You live there and will see it every day. Changes have to be functional and pleasing to the eye. Most importantly, they need to fit into your lifestyle. You want to be sure the contractor you hire has the highest level of professionalism, integrity and craftsmanship possible.
