- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For most couples, a personalized ceremony is critical. I usually start with two questionnaires - one for the couple to complete together and one for each partner to complete individually. I use the information shared to develop a meaningful ceremony, highlighting whatever themes have defined the relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have credentials of ministry through the Universal Life Church.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Planning a wedding can be a tremendous amount of work and finding the right officiant can be an overwhelming prospect, especially if you envision a non-religious ceremony. I recommend speaking with your prospective officiants before making your selection to ensure you are on the same page about your wedding. If we work together, I am available for regular communication prior to your event, including multiple drafts of the ceremony (as needed), rehearsals, and recommendations for unity activities or readings.
