Stephen Switchenko Expert Wall Mounting /Handyman
About this pro
Steve did a great job mounting 2 TVs and a mirror for me. He was friendly and extremely careful with his work and made sure the mounting was done the right way for my walls. He even offered to buy and drop off additional spacers for one of my mounts so the cords for the TV wouldn’t be jammed against the wall. All around a great experience.Aug 21, 2018Verified
Stephen did a great job mounting two wall shelves and a mirror for my apartment. He worked with me on deciding what height the items would best be hung at. Will definitely be using him again in the future!Jun 2, 2018Verified
Stephen was absolutely fantastic- he is friendly and worked quickly, and even got this shelf mounted that a few other folks had struggled with. I will be using him for any art/shelves/etc. that I need mounted in future.May 17, 2018Verified
Could not speak more highly of Stephen. He was incredibly responsive from the beginning to the day of the job. He was very nice, professional and did amazing work. He helps us put the finishing touch on our house and I could not rave more about his work! He had everything put up great. Including shelves, pictures, and a very heavy mirror! Stephen can do it all.May 1, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Yes, I generally charge $60 per hour, or charge a set amount for a job.I have the experience that comes with helping 2500 clients, so I work FAST. I have never had client who thought I wasn't fair about pricing. Yep, that didn't mean they didn't want a lower bid.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I make sure I know as much as possible about a project , and thoroughly communicate with the client to get their expectations , and let them know my thoughts on estimated length of project, as well as cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a Yale graduate with a BS in biology, and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Darden at the University of Virginia. After a career in finance,(New York Wall Street is an amazing place to work. Loved going to work every day) . then a prolonged bout with cancer, ( A billion to one survivor) my handyman. and wall mounting skills developed over several years doing hundreds of projects for clients through Taskrabbit, Thumbtack and direct hires. I love college basketball, and cannot get enough of the Golden State Warriors. I played varsity basketball at Yale ( Payne Whitney Gymnasium is an icon!!), making the All Ivy League Team Senior year. Scored 399 points Senior Year, missing last shot in last game at buzzer!! Definitely a blessed early life! My life path is stranger than fiction.
