- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Standard Thumbtack pricing is considered base pricing - depending on the concluded evaluation of your home and if certain services are deducted, or added, pricing may decrease, or increase from the base price stated in Thumbtack's auto-quoting system. Any cleaning that goes beyond the quoted time range solely due to the condition of the home, or commercial property will be charged an extra $25/hr for every hour accumulated beyond the quoted time. The use of chemical-free cleaners costs extra - pricing varies depending on the size and condition of the home; inquire if interested. Discounts are available for the following: 10% off any cleaning for active, or retired military with Military/Veteran ID 10% off any cleaning for seniors ages 65 with identification 10% off reoccuring weekly cleanings 10% off reoccuring biweekly cleanings 5% off reoccuring monthly cleanings
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First time customers will receive a free in-home consultation with me to solidify a final quote for the job. During this consultation, you'll take me on a guided tour of your home. While on tour, you may mention anything that needs particular attention to detail, extra elbow grease, specific requirements, etc. Not only is the consultation used to get an idea of what's expected, but it's an opportunity for us to get to know one another, and see if we're a good fit. There is no pressure to accept a quote right away, or at all - you decide what best fits your needs. If the quote is accepted, expect the first one to two cleanings to take a little bit longer than originally quoted. The reason for this is to become more acclimated to the home and to build an efficent plan/to do list for future cleanings. If the cleanings regularly go above the original quoted time solely due to the condition of the home, a new quote will be drafted and sent to you immediately for review. Again, there is no pressure to accept revised quotes - if you choose to cancel and shop around, there will be no hard feelings!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been cleaning residential, rental, and commercial properties since 2015. I'm a 10 year veteran of the restaurant industry, which required high standards of sanitation and cleanliness - think of the filthiest scenario and I've probably experienced it, or gone through worse.
