FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have a standard pricing system for single sessions out of a program and regular consultations. A single session is $60. However, we do offer programs that require a 10% downpayment at the signing of a two month or three month contract and choice of two payment plans that range from monthly payments of under $400 and up.Customers receive ongoing assessments, as well as a portfolio of all of the strategies and tips the child has learned to serve as a new reference guide after training has ended. We charge $100 for the consultation. Our customers receive a detailed report and assessment with our consultations as well as recommendations for therapy that can be used as a great resource for the child's teachers and specialists.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing I do is interview the customer to find out where their current needs lie and offer a free ten to fifteen- minute phone consultation to allow potential clients to contact me directly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in Early Childhood Education in both New Jersey and Georgia. I was trained specifically to address an inner city district in New Jersey that was experiencing an unusually high special needs referral rate in Pre-Kindergarten and up. I also worked with a team of pediatric occupational therapists, audiologists and speech pathologists during a practicum designed for graduate students of a neighboring university. I currently hold a certification in Orton-Gillingham and gifted and talented and am working to become a Susan Barton certified dyslexic tutor as well.
