- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?For Weddings we have standard packages, for other types of production work, we have a flat rate which is calculated by an hourly rate and we add that with other production costs such as finding locations, office hours, permits, ect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We listen to each new customer and get a feel for who they are and what they want. Communication and intuition are key elements we use when being creative. We create a contract so that everything is documented and clear. Our shooting style is intimate we pay attention to what is happening in our environment or intention of the project. We focus on capturing the footage in a unique engaging way. In the editing processes we dig deep and find what is wanting to be expressed in each project or video, we take direction from our clients and combine that with our own sensibilities. (For weddings, powerful connections of what is being shown on many subtle levels and tie it all together to create a video that will evoke the best emotions. How can we bring the family together? How can we show this persons best side? For commercial work we spend time understanding the product or project and what is the intention of it, or for example what is the target audience, how will it serve the target audience, how can we use our psychology experience and use of time and pacing to create impact? Things like this. Deep thoughts. Our clients are always blown away by the final product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We did a film program in 2007 and worked and taught in many studios in Los Angeles. We keep up to date with latest gear and trends via blogs, social media, colleagues , fellow filmmakers, online tutorials and real on job experience. We also have degrees in psychology, holistic healing transformational coaching, and we honestly relate to our work on a deep level. We are very well rounded people who are solution and vision oriented and understand a lot of moving parts.
