FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a special cash hourly rate of $90, however, if you intend to use your health insurance or other EAP to cover the cost of sessions, that could change significantly. In most cases we will see insured clients for the cost of their copay and long as the other requirement of your insurance have been met (deductible, premium eligibility etc). In some cases where there is no insurance we can work out package rate that includes multiple sessions at a discounted rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Intake (first) sessions are done in person. This give the therapist and the client the best possible situation to understand each other. Once you have explained your situation to your counselor he/she can give you some idea of how long they think the process will take. Client usually meeting with their therapist weekly, or sometimes twice a week until they feel better and then continue on an "as needed basis."
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each of our counselors are required to take 20 hours of continued education each year, but many do more.
