I just want to say that Tom and his wife Dj'd my wedding on May 30th of 2015 and they did such an amazing job! They go above and beyond expectation! I can not honestly describe the sense of satisfaction because they went far beyond what I anticipated! My wedding was amazing but these two individuals and there passion for their art (and yes these two are artists) made my wedding that much more unforgettable! I am not an emotional guy but by the end of the night I could not fathom up the true feelings I felt because of how impressed I was! My family still talks about them months after my wedding! My wife and I both agree that if we were to have any future events, I would never think to hire anyone but Tom and his wife! So once again I want to personally thank you from My wife and myself! You both truly did a perfect job!

Tom came to us through a recommendation from the owner of our venue. We first contacted Tom about a year before our date via email. He was open to supplying music while guest entered, for the ceremony itself, cocktail hour and the reception. About a month before the wedding, Tom had us fill out a questionnaire covering music types, toasts, specific songs, dances, and times for different events. A week out, Tom contacted us by phone to confirm the details of our wedding day. He was able to find the obscure versions of songs that we requested. Tom arrived early and had his equipment setup before guests arrived. Tom played a nice selection of music at the perfect volume while our family and friends found their seats. During the ceremony Tom was spot on when each song began and when they needed to fade out. Once the reception started Tom’s talents as a DJ shined. The music was great and tailored to our crowd. He strictly enforced our no rap or country, which was awesome. Tom surprised everybody when he started to play multiple instruments live! Completely unknown to us Tom invited his lovely girlfriend Stacy to sing. She too is very talented and has a beautiful voice. These artists wowed the room! I give top marks to Tom and highly recommend him for your event. Thank you for wonderful night!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In addition to electronic communication, I think it's nice if we can talk on the phone a few times prior to your wedding. I definitely feel more connected with my couples that way. When someone first expresses interest in hiring me for their wedding, I will invite them to call me and I will answer any questions they might have. By chatting on the phone, we can get a better sense of each other's personality. Plus, I can explain all of the relevant information such as booking, song requests, timeline/itinerary etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 2 degrees in music: Bachelors in Music-Education from the Crane School of Music, State University of New York. Masters in Music-Performance from Temple University. In addition to my 14+ years as a professional Disc Jockey, I also have 20+ years of experience performing live music as a Classical Flutist, Jazz Saxophonist and Pop Vocalist. I think this is one of the things that sets me apart from other wedding disc jockeys... I am able to offer live music for your ceremony, cocktail hour and during dinner. I believe the live music adds a sophisticated element of class to any affair.
