Still/ Video Production
About this pro
I provide video production services such as corporate, documentary, commercial and all things in between. I have 25 years of experience working for PBS and Hallmark Cards as an Award-winning videographer, editor and producer with a wealth of experience producing videos and content based in visual storytelling: Training videos and executive team videos; promotional videos, coverage of major corporate events and sales meetings; TV spots and social media content. More recently his clients have included Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art in David City, Nebraska, CBS News, the Travel Channel, C-Span, HGTV, Scoular, Lockton, Centene and Garmin. In addition, he develops short films and documentaries which he produces independently. His specialty is providing service to his clients which takes the complexity out of projects. He's comfortable working with both small and big budgets and enjoys collaborating closely with marketing department colleagues as well as outside resources to deliver a best-in-class video product.
We hired Ken to film an installation video of our new Mobile Radio. Ken was great to work with, he spent as much time as we needed to get the right shot. I would hire him again.Feb 11, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I typical charge $250 for 1/2 day $500 for a full day I charged separately for gear .. camera/tripod/audio/lights/editing I am willing to work with a client. There are a lot of variables with video.. location/ is there lighting/audio involved/ how many people on camera/ editing involved and what it the final product.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Thumbtack is a challenge because normally a client calls and we discuss what the project is, I like to understand what my client wants and how I can give them the best product for the money.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a broadcast/film degree and have worked in video production/editing for over 20 years working for PBS and in the corporate environment. I have been working full time as freelance/contractor for several years and have worked with a variety of clients and companies.
