Introduction: I use exceptional quality rajasthan and jamilah henna from the newest crops as well as only use 100% natural lemon juice and essential oil. It is imperative for good quality stains and healthy application.
I love making people happy with my art. Henna for special occasions and things like weddings just add to the positivity and cultural richness of the event.

I've gotten henna done so many times by Sophia. She's done a whole array of different styles on me, whether traditional or so on. She's especially patient when I've used her to try out new tattoo ideas instead of wanting a normal henna design.

Sophia was super sweet, wonderfully accommodating, and lovely to spend time with. She came to our home and created beautiful designs for our group during a 2 hour time slot, for which we paid her $125. Unfortunately, the henna she used faded almost immediately. She told us to wait 24 hours for it to darken but it never did. When all that was left after 24 hours was a pale, barely noticeable yellow stain, we contacted her again seeking a refund. She was incredibly apologetic and offered to both return our money and comp us a free session. We chose to take her up on the "re-do" in hopes that the end result is more positive 2nd time around. Overall, I was pleased with Sophia and her work, but not entirely thrilled with the product.

She was late after I had just messaged and spoke to her 30 mins prior informing I was at our meeting location. Her price waay to much and the art literally only lasted 4-5 days. I had a half sleeve and paid $60 bucks she said it should have been more. The Indian artist I use to go to would have only charged $35 and lasted 3 weeks. I coddled my arm and even wrapped it up as Sophia suggested and did not shower for 13hrs. I told her that it had faded and she offered to fix but never came thru after several attempts to reach her via call and text. She is young and learned Henna, but it is not native to her. I wish my lady hadn't left! I will find someone else that is native to henna culture and art. Hate that I wasted $60 for something that was suppose to last a few weeks and didn't. Very disappointed! Don't recommend if this is how she conducts biz.

I am sorry you feel this way about your experience, however I reached out to you and I did respond to your texts. The door is still open if you would like a partial refund or an additional session. As I previously explained, showering before 24, not 13, hours of the stain will most certainly deplete the ability of the henna to penetrate the skin. You will find that information on any henna artist info page. After spending 2.5 hours with you, it is going to be more expensive than if I only spent one hour. As you saw, my work was very detailed and intricate and extremely specified to the complicated design you wanted.
Finally, you do not have the right to dictate what is part of my culture and what is not. You do not know my culture and you do not know my history. What does a henna artist look like? Dress like? Sound like? It doesn't matter. I am proud of my craft and am willing to help you to feel better but ultimately it was your mistake that caused this problem. Thank you, I am sorry for your dissatisfaction, and I would gladly help out in this situation but please understand that this is not an accurate assessment of my work or my business practices.
