Sacred Ceremonies

Introduction: Sacred Ceremonies officiants are Humanist Celebrants, a clergy equivalent recognition, ordained by the Humanist Society for the American Humanist Association (AHA). Humanist celebrants represent the Humanist philosophy: a progressive philosophy of life that, without theism and other supernatural belief, affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity. Celebration of life is central to a meaningful humanist philosophy and humanist celebrants officiate significant celebrations vital to humanist life. We provide secular alternatives to traditional religious weddings, memorial services, and other life cycle events.
