FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You can schedule and pay for your Book Idea Assessment or author coaching session directly on my website! Pricing for editing is based on the word count; I offer to edit a 1,000-word sample at no charge. This gives you an idea whether you like my editing style and lets me see the condition of the manuscript so I can quote you on editing the whole thing. Ghostwriting is available in four packages: Family Memoir, Storyteller, Entrepreneur, and Executive. Each includes a different amount of marketing services with the book writing. They are described on my website; contact me for pricing on each.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the client decides to hire me, we begin with a signed contract and a retainer fee. The contract spells out pricing, sets up timelines, and includes protections for us both. What comes next depends on the services booked.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida. Graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course in Effective Public Speaking and Human Relations. Had enough hours of English Literature classes to have minored in that, if UF's business college had allowed minors at that time. Worked for a directory publisher for 23 years, in a variety of sales, marketing, and public relations positions.
