FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make them feel comfortable and relaxed that's number one. On top of that most future clients come from word of mouth and that can't happen if your burning your clients metaphorically speaking.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm constentially following people and business to find out what's new or cool. Reading about the latest gear or the newest thing. Watching webinars or attending high end photography workshops. Staying educated on the new and keeping up with developments really makes you stand out and stay amongst some of the top photographers. But more than that it helps to keep myself professional and be able to be better at what I do. Every shoot is a learning experience. Even with someone with 30 years experience there is something to learn, the market is always changing. It's important to try and keep up with every aspect of the scene.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Honestly it started with four classes, with the good old roll of film and a dark room. I fell in love with going out and capturing something and then going back later to see what came of it. Also learning how different things I did with the camera made different results.
