Kate is a fantastic, energetic, and efficient trainer. She created workouts that fit my schedule and lifestyle, and allowed me to improve my overall health. I started working out with Kate when I was 45. She was my very first personal trainer and had to teach me everything from scratch. She put a lot of work into designing workouts that matched my short, medium and long-range goals. While too challenging to strictly be called fun, her workouts are never boring so the time tends to pass quickly. She mixes it up a lot and is a master at working multiple muscle groups with a single exercise and at using equipment creatively. She has the knowledge and experience to work her clients hard without injury, which was important to me. In addition to the workouts, Kate was a great resource on nutrition and healthy choices in general, and a super role model. Thanks to Kate I tightened up, increased my strength, flexibility and balance, and ran a marathon. She would still be my trainer if she werent 2500+ miles away; I cannot recommend her highly enough!Feb 17, 2014
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Every two years I am required to do a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education to keep my personal trainers certification current. I have done continuing education on a variety of topics from nutrition, to anatomy to speed and agility, to prenatal and youth fitness.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Each personal training session includes stretching, resistance, balance and reactive training, core strength development, and cardio conditioning. Together, these create an environment that jumpstarts your fitness and, when continued, lead to lifelong wellness.
