FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

The inspiration for my business came from several places. I was inspired by friends and colleagues who had started their own business and I had reached a crossroads of sorts in my own life and I was ready to start working towards a lifelong goal of being an entrepreneur. Most importantly, I was inspired by people who were making a big difference in their corner of the world and I wanted to emulate that and help others change their lives in a positive way both in and out of the gym. The biggest challenge for me was getting out of my comfort zone of "corporate America" and being courageous enough to go out on my own to create and live the dream I had always imagined.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Being in the fitness industry, a lot of my clients come to me for weight loss, but honestly, I wouldn't say I have any "typical" clients. I have a wide range of clients that vary in age, fitness levels, goals, etc. so it definitely is not a monotonous job at all. Everyone is different and I take a tailored approach to each of them which makes my job a blast and keeps me on my toes for each individual client.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I don't try to "sell" my service and I don't want to ever deliver a "sales pitch" like a cars salesman. When I meet with prospective clients, I simply want to encourage them in their fitness pursuits, motivate them to chase after their goals, and be a positive influence in their life. I also want them to know the reality of what being "fit" means. Fitness is not a short term solution, but rather a lifelong pursuit that should become a part of your life. I want to instill positive habits that can be applied throughout the course of their lives and not just so they can fit into a pair of jeans or look good in their swimsuits. Those are just great perks of being fit!! Also, many times people see the covers of magazines and get unrealistic ideas of what they are supposed to look like and I try to reverse that thinking in my clients and have them aim for being the best YOU that YOU can be and not worry about what society tells us is acceptable. I want people to love themselves and know they are worth it; living an enriched life full of confidence and self esteem with a WHATEVER IT TAKES mentality.
