- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I like to talk to the prospective client about the work, to understand all the parameters. Asking questions is an important part of figuring out if I'm the right person for the job. I'm always honest with clients, and work best when I understand the project clearly on the front end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in humanities. My custom-designed major was journalism and creative writing. In addition to working in newspapers for 20 years, I also have worked in magazines as an editor and writer, written for websites, and managed a public relations and marketing department for a notable nonprofit. I've also written one book and edited others.
