FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am ALWAYS taking and in search of continuing education classes. I am a hairstylist that believes education is extremely important. If you ever come across a hairstylist that feels like they already know it all....RUN! That is an example of a hairstylist that is selfish and has stopped growing. Todays's world is constantly evolving. Advancements and discoveries in the hair industry are being made everyday. If there is something new and improved out there that can benefit my client as well as myself I WANT TO KNOW!! I want to know the latest trends so I can be able to deliver to my clients if that's what they want. I love my clients. Without them I am not a hairstylist. I am willing to travel across the world to learn so I will be able give my clients what they need and want.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do for my clients are cut and color services, natural hair silk outs, natural hairstyles, sew-ins and quick weaves, up do's, as well as relaxer services. I also work with photographers make sure the hair emphasizes the vision they desire to capture.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the provider is licensed as well as experienced in the area of your needs. A stylist never knows it ALL and they should never stop learning. The stylist should always be taking continuing education classes to enhance their knowledge in all aspects of the industry. Make sure the provider has passion for the the industry. A stylist that has passion for what they do will always do their absolute best and it will be important to them that their client is satisfied. Time is money and it is also priceless. A stylist should be punctual and efficient. They should understand that your time is important and wasting it is not an option.
