My wedding portraits are unique, a type of the "beauty and the beast" thing. I love to take a beautiful bride and put her in an out-of-the-ordinary background -- maybe a construction site, lake pier, old house, abandoned building, out in a field, and so on and so forth -- or we can do the traditional thing also. It's all up to you. I want the onlooker to look at the complete image. I normally charge a flat rate for weddings and by-the day or half-a day for all other types of shoots. I have a professional MUA and hairstylist who works with me with reasonable rates. Travel rates depend on the distance and days that I stay.
