Brian completed a small job quickly and made suggestions on others. I will use him for more.Dec 25, 2018Verified
I hired Brian to do very simple tasks like install towel racks, toliet paper holders, shower rods, curtain rods, etc. He and his co-worker took so long to do simple task and they did a ugly job, as you can see by the pictures. Brian came back and tried to redo his mistakes and created more, I will not hire him again!Very displeased with the work he done, I had to hire a friend to finish his job.Oct 27, 2018VerifiedThe Handyman Brian's reply
This customer asked us to return to repair a few items that we had installed for them. We completed the list they had given us. Afterward we did a walk through with the customer. We asked repeatedly if there was anything else while we were there. They stated no, that was all. It wasn’t until the spouse got involved that the issues persisted. Apparently the two can not get on the same page as to what is or what isn’t acceptable. The pictures shown were the before pictures of what was repaired. I would not recommend this customer to any pro who doesn’t want endless trouble.
The guys did a great job on the 2 items I had. No issues at all. Will call back for subsequent work!!!Sep 21, 2018Verified
Brian and his helper were prompt, professional and very cordial. They installed an over the range microwave in my home. There work was good and they cleaned up what little mess there was. I would hire his services again if needed.Aug 23, 2018VerifiedThe Handyman Brian's reply
Thank you. I’m glad we can always be some help to a fellow veteran.
I called on Brian to fix the subfloor at my sunroom door that had been damaged from rain. He was very knowledgeable on the repair that was necessary (I built the sunroom myself and he explained the construction in detail), so I hired him. Overall, the job was done well. There were a few things that shouldn't have been overseen, but overall the job was completed. He worked fast and that may have contributed to some of the details I was hoping for more thorough completion.Aug 17, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most jobs are by time plus materials basis. Its hard to give a quote without seeing or measuring the job in this business. It’s easier for everyone to just give a flat labor rate. We charge a minimum of $180 for up to 4 hours or $$360 for all day. So, we encourage our customers to gather several tasks to be done to make it more cost efficient.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Explaining how the job is priced and the time line it can be done in.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We are in constant contact with our material suppliers to stay up to date on all lines being produced and to see that our clients get the best materials for the best price.
