- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $100 payable at the beginning of the month for four 30 minute lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a free consultation lesson and discuss their musical backround and goals. If the student has been experimenting with chords, I check their technique. If they want to read music, I'll work in a method book beginning with the basics. Learning songs they are interested in is always a motivator and I'll select tunes within their capabilities. I try to keep the lessons interesting and fun before introducing the student to more rigorous material.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had guitar lessons at age 13 and was a singer/bassist and songwriter performing with a band at age 18. i also attended Berklee College of Music in Boston studying bass for a semester after high school. Every style I've performed, from R&B to Rock or Jazz or Country has been a learning experience and informs my knowledge of music.
