Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Music is a form of expression that heals and teaches. Music helps people relate to one another and find meaning and enjoyment in life. As a trained musician who plays many styles of music, I can help you achieve your goals. I have 15 years of experience teaching applied piano lessons at all levels, ranging from beginner to pre-professional. I graduated with my Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance in May of 2019 and started my studio, Huntsville Performing Arts, in October of 2018. My secondary instrument is voice and I have worked for the University of Alabama, Florida Atlantic University, and the University of Wisconsin as a vocal coach and accompanist. My performance credentials include performing internationally at music festivals such as the Zephyr Chamber Music Festival, which included performances across Italy and Switzerland, the Atlantic Music Festival in Waterville, Maine, where I was chosen as the recipient of the Atlantic Music Festival Roberts Scholarship. I won the Clara Wells Scholar award and was a featured performer at the American Matthay Association Piano Festival in State College Pennsylvania, as well as performing with the Florida Atlantic University Symphony Orchestra as a winner of their Young Artist Concerto Competition. I care about my students and my community and want to share the joy of music with everyone. I provide regular performing opportunities in the local community. I also offer studio group performance classes. In addition, I am on the board of the Alabama Music Teachers Association, and can enroll younger age groups in the regional and state AMTA competitions. I can also enter adults in the national MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) E-Competition if they wish to gain more performance experience and feedback from a judge.
