- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A. Wedding Day ($200)* Free 1-hour consultation with bridal couple Assists couples in choosing wedding formats and personalizing ceremony Officiates wedding ceremony B. Wedding Day Plus Rehearsal ($250)* Free 1-hour consultation with bridal couple Assists couples in choosing wedding formats and personalizing ceremony Attends wedding rehearsal and provide assistance in the flow of wedding ceremony Officiates wedding ceremony $100 nonrefundable deposit to hold the date; the remaining nonrefundable fee to be paid 2 weeks prior to the wedding ceremony. *For weddings outside of Madison County, AL, please add $50 to prices for travel to A. and $100 to B. For Holidays, add $100. Please ask about including your pet(s) in your nuptials. As long as your venue allows them, they are more than welcome!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with couples to discuss their wedding plans, if possible. Then, texting and email seems to suffice; however, I am always available to them if they have any concerns or questions regarding the wedding.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A funny thing, drama classes helps me teach a wedding party how to stand in front of guests for optimum pictures. Also, standing correctly ensures that no one faints during the ceremony. History has been beneficial, too. Knowing why the groom stands on the right of the bride (gotta keep that sword arm at the ready!) and other well-honored traditions allows me to explain why certain things are performed during a ceremony. Not that throwing tradition out the window can't be a fun and interesting wedding! I am one of those people with a high level of organizational skills. I have volunteered with the Red Cross organizing events and worked in the schools on various projects. I am the person who gets things done when I say I'll get them done, and if I tell you I'll be somewhere at a certain time, I'm ALWAYS early. If I see something that needs to get done, I pitch in without having to be asked. Just a happy helperton at heart!
