John did a simple shower remodel. The shower leaked into the floor boards. He came out 4 Times over 5 months with quick fixes that didn’t last. Finally I asked for a partial refund so I could get the shower pan re done and he stopped responding. I spent thousands of dollars on a shower that leaks. Don’t use him

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad is a painter and sheetrock finisher and I grew up with a paintbrush in my hand. Always helping out around the house and on the job. The summer I turned 16 I started working with a company building decks, privacy fences, and framing. Worked my way through college in the business and after graduation, decided that I enjoyed building and remodeling more than I enjoyed the field I have my degree in(computer networking).
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We went in to an older home in Homewood for some minor demo work. Two rooms of carpet, scrape ceilings, remove kitchen cabinets. It turned into a total gut and remodel. We added a LVL beam to take out two walls and expand the kitchen and framed an extra bath and closet out of a quarter of the dining area.
