I have the ability, training, and experience to listen well to my client's needs; It is very important to me as a professional to implement the style, desires, and wishes that my client wants to achieve, not my own personal preferences. If I see that an idea that my client wants is not the best for form, function, or design, I will be honest and try to guide them in a different direction. If they insist on the direction they are thinking, I will certainly honor their decision. That is part of being a person of integrity, which I always seek to operate by. Helping my client achieve what they want; seeing the look of satisfaction on his/her face after project is finished.

Janie was helpful, diligent & patient. I felt overwhelmed because I wanted to update our home with color & I was afraid of making mistakes. We were advised to paint the oak paneling in our family room to amN antique white. Also, in that room Janie came up with a good solution on how to arrange our furniture to comfortable seating. Our master bathroom had an odd color of wallpaper. Janie found a beautiful coordinating color for our bedroom. Janie suggested a soft blue paint for our LR and DR. And I received many compliments on the color choice. In one of our upstairs bathrooms she picked out a very nice wallpaper. In addition, Janie was able to recommend an excellent painter and someone to do the wallpaper. Janie definitely went above and beyond and we were very pleased with the outcome. It also helped in our sale or that house a few years later.

Janie assisted me and my husband with decorating our living room and dining room. She took our very different tastes and guided us to an end result with which we are both very happy. She helped us select fabric to update furniture passed down to us from our grandparents. She assisted with paint choices, space planning and furniture placement. She handled having our draperies and table cover custom made, as well as the installation of the draperies. Janie's knowledge is comprehensive and we enjoyed working with her.
