- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Book your wedding early for the lowest fees. All sitting fees are for a predetermined length of time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After an initial phone interview, I like to meet with my clients in person. I have a list of questions that I ask to learn who is going to be involved in the event, who the VIPs are, and what may be the most important moments for them. By meeting in person I am able to read their mannerisms and body language to get a good feel of their personality, a key element in delivering the best experience for my clients. I always present my clients with a “Welcome” packet that will provide them opportunities to preset poses and groups as well as give them pointers. If this is a wedding event, we can discuss options such as photos during the many events leading up to the big moment, including dress shopping and fittings, bridesmaid invites, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, and more. These events also allow me to see who the bride interacts most with. Finally, after the photo shoot is over, I will forward a copy of Proofs within 24 hours, and schedule a one-on-one within two weeks to process the photos and assist with the selection process. If the client prefers a CD of a pre-determined number of photos, we will choose which photos will be released and the client can expect the CD within 7-10 business days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Most of my training comes from a multitude of classes. Trial and error plays a big part, so I take my camera out whenever I can and try different things to see where I can differentiate myself from other photographers. Photography is like music - you can never practice too much or become too perfect.
