I FIRST BECAME ACQUAINTED WITH DARRELL THREE YEARS AGO WHEN HE WAS DOING SOME WORK ON MY NIECE'S HOUSE IN LITTLE ROCK. SHE WAS A FIRST YEAR PHARMACY STUDENT WHO HAD BOUGHT A HOUSE IN LITTLE ROCK WITH THE HELP OF HER PARENTS THAT NEEDED SOME REPAIRS AND DARRELL WAS RECOMMENDED HIGHLY TO HER. SHE WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK HE HAD DONE FOR HER. WHEN THE TIME CAME FOR MY HUSBAND AND I TO HAVE A NEW ROOF INSTALLED ON OUR HOUSE, WE REMEMBERED THE WORK DARRELL HAD DONE FOR HER AND GOT IN TOUCH WITH HIM FOR WORK ON OUR HOUSE. IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS HE HAS PREFORMED SEVERAL PROJECTS FOR US INCLUDING REPLACING THE ROOF, INTERIOR PAINTING, REMOVING THE BUILT-IN SHOWER IN THE MASTER BATH TO REPAIR PLUMBING IN THE WALL SPACE AND THE MAKE-OVER OF TWO ROOMS IN OUR HOUSE. ONE HAS BECOME A CLOSET AND THE OTHER HAS BECOME A LIBRARY, INCLUDING A BUILT- IN COMPUTER DESK, SHELVING AND RELATED WORK. ADDITIONALLY, WE HAD PAINTING AND REPAIRS DONE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE WHERE THERE HAD BEEN LEAKS AND TERMITE DAMAGE. WE HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH DARRELL'S DESIGN WORK, CONTINUING THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS AND WOULD RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY. DARRELL WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL TO ME WHILE HE WAS IN OUR HOUSE, OVER AND ABOVE THE PROJECT HE WAS WORKING ON. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our pricing is based on the the rates throughout the industry. Every job is different, but the base pricing is typically the same for all task. Some jobs vary for there size and difficulty. With that said we always do a detailed take off of a project which includes, material cost, labor cost, tools/equipment cost and profit. Larger jobs will have some overhead involved.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Our process is very customer friendly and easy. First thing we do when meeting with a customer is get all the necessary information such as measurements, materials to be used and budget information. Once we have all the information, we provide a detailed proposal, usually within one to two days. Once the customer accepts our proposal, we then set up a scheduled time to start and finish the project. Some projects may require money down, but we don't ask for full payment until the project is completed and the customer is satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an Associates Degree in Construction Management Technology. I have Military training and certification as an Engineer in the U.S. Marine Corps. I have over 30 years of hands on training in many trades working for well established companies and contractors throughout the industry.
