The arkansas bee girls were dishonest and the owner was very unprofessional. I went in to purchase an 8 frame queen excluder. They informed me that there weren’t any in the building and they would have to bring it in from the main store. I agreed and purchased the over priced excluders. They arrived 5 days late, to which I was told 1-2 days when purchasing. When I drove back to the store all the way from Maumelle to pick them up, they informed me that they needed to be trimmed. I simply asked why they waiting until I went to pick them up to tell me that to which they just said sorry. I was very disappointed. I then asked “are these for 10 frame hives”? To which she answered “no, they are for 8 frame hives, they just need to be trimmed just a hair. They are a little off”. I was very upset, but polite. I informed the girl working the front desk that I wish they could have let me know ahead of time because I could have went somewhere else or just ordered them online and had them shipped to my door. I had already put supers on my hives roughly 3-4 days before I went to purchase them. So now they have been on my hives for almost a week and a half. I was disappointed, but left the store politely. The next day when I went to put the excluders on my hive, I realized they weren’t just a little off, but a lot. I then compared it to my 10 frame hive and it was a perfect fit. I then contacted the store and the owner called me. She continued to raise her voice at me, told me that it was my fault that I should have had excluders ahead of time, and that even tho “the customer is suppose to be quote on quote right, we never lied and you’re wrong”. She continued to not let me speak over the phone to voice my concerns about being lied to. Thats the only thing I wanted addressed. She eventually just yelled and hung up on me. I’m all for supporting local businesses which is why I thought I would go in. That was the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. Their honey may be good, but I don’t believe their morals are. And that’s more important in my opinion. I’ll continue to give my business to Bemis even though they are a little out of my way. They have shown to be great and honest people.
