It was a all around outstanding experience training with Curtiss. As an instructor and a mentor, Curtiss displays great balance working with all ranges of experience from top competitors to novice individuals in martial arts. His patience and ability to effectively and efficiently lead his students to their desired ability is nothing short of impressive. Curtiss is pound for pound one of the toughest competitors I have had the pleasure of sparring with and I can emphatically say that I hold him in the highest regard. He is one of my favorite mentors throughout my life and I've competed nationally and internationally in 15s Rugby, 7s Rugby, and Army Combatives spanning over 25 years.

Nothing but positive things to say about my training with Curtis. I have trained with him in ground fighting and kickboxing, he always breaks things down so that his students can understand them. There are great martial artists and there are great teachers, Curtis is both. I take any opportunity I can get to train with him and would recommend any place he offers instruction.
