FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am just beginning my business in the area that I am in, so my prices are significantly lower than my competitors! Just until I can gain a good rapport in the area! :) I usually charge by the hour for shoots unless it's a big event. At that point, I would need to know more about the event to assess what equipment to rent and personnel to hire, and that would affect the price. For editing, video or photo, it depends on the amount of work that needs to be done on the photo or video as well as how many photos or how much footage I am working with.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I either need to have a phone call or meeting with you in order to get all the details ironed out! I'll ask you some basic questions like: What vibe are you going for? What kind of emotions or feelings are you hoping to capture? What's the most important thing you want to focus on in this project? I would also want to clear up any questions or concerns you have as well!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken photography, cinematography, editing, and films classes from 2015 to the present. I went to film school in Los Angeles from 2017-2019. I also work on as many projects as I can outside of school as well as reading books and watching videos to always have up to date knowledge. I have been working professionally as a photographer since 2015.
