FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For prices I normally prefer to add up the cost of the materials needed (paint, anything rented, cost of traveling) with a set price that we both agree on for the actual service, and that will vary depending on what it is. I am very reasonable with pricing, maybe a little low even, just because I believe you're a good judge of how much you think you should pay for a specific service. I'm even willing to wait until afterwards to let you decide how much you'd be willing to pay, that way you won't feel like you're over (or under) paying.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I just continue to do the things that I do. I'm currently in college under an undecided major taking all the classes I'm interested in before I start taking all the classes I have to.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started learning early what I was good at, continued to work to get better at it, and when people ask me if I'd like to do something for them or to help out at an event or anything I always say yes if I'm able.
