What do you love about your job?

What I love about my job are a million different things. I love my job because I never do the same thing every week. One week, I may be tearing off and putting a new roof on. In another week, I could be putting flooring down, painting the inside of a house, and everything in between. Also, I love dealing with the customers. I enjoy talking and getting to know each other so I connect and get a feel of what they really want their projects to turn out to be. When I'm finished, seeing the looks on the customers' faces is always priceless.

What or who inspired you to start your own business?

I went to college for 2 years, and I couldn't connect with it. It just didn't feel right. So I started working in construction. Automatically, I felt a connection. Three years ago, I couldn't read a tape. I had to use the EZ read tape. Three years later, I worked for myself by building houses and remodeling them from the ground up. I loved it. I had a passion for it. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. My mom inspired me. She always told me that if I'm going to do something, I might as well go all in. So why settle and work for someone when I can work for myself?
