April hit all of these marks for me and my family. She told me what times were available and she was there early waiting for me! She did a full walk-through to know my house and understand what I wanted. I wanted just a clean house. It’s cleaner than when my family and I first moved in! I love it! On top of that she was very polite and not grumpy to be there like plenty of other services. She really felt like family the way she took care of our home, and the way she carried herself. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Introductions are important to me. I understand how difficult it is to have a stranger come into your home. I hope to set you at ease with professionalism and courtesy. Next, I explain my services to my client and go over what I will do in your home at my basic rate. I’m open to any feedback and questions. I am willing to provide additional services at your request. At that time we can discuss my pricing for those services. I am willing to negotiate and I understand each household has its own budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a homemaker and Marine veteran. Cleanliness, order, and ‘everything having its place’ are qualities that come naturally.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My cleaning and maintenance duties started in my youth. My mother was a housekeeper and I assisted her cleaning homes and businesses. I’ve been a homemaker for 10 years now and recently decided to start my own small business providing cleaning services.
