About this pro
Chuck And Rhonda S.
Monty has done work for me on several of my houses and outbuildings. I have employed his talents on different projects over the last 10+ years. I have asked him to do everything from adding simple handicapped ramps to my homes' entrances to complete room additions. He is really good to offer ideas and suggestions if you would like them. He has an eye for precision and beauty whether it be a storage shed or a sun room. He pricing is very competitive. You will be impressed with his skills. I would recommend him for any of your building or projects needs. The Stamps Family-Fayetteville, ARJun 20, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have 2 methods of pricing which i use, depending on the scope of the project i am bidding. I openly discuss my pricing with my clients regarding which method i am using. However i consider that kind of a trade secret not to be revealed in a public forum lest the competition learn why they are constantly underbid.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Building new client relationships is sometimes tricky. We live in a world of diversity. Typically, at first i will focus on the task, and establish some framework of what is needed as well as what the new client can and should expect of me. Time is the best judge of character. Many of my clients, i have worked with repeatedly and some i have known for 10-15 years. I don't see clients as much as i see "circles" of clients. In my line of work, a good recommendation from a happy customer can go very far. Whether it leads to the next big project, or just a " honey do list" that someone just hasn't time to get done.word of mouth is probably my favprite form of advertising.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I didn't choose it, it chose me. I've had a builder's bone every since I constructed my first treehouse at age 10....yes, by myself with no outside influence. (Except the hammer and handful of nails borrowed from a friendly neighbor)
